Hereford Sub Aqua Club is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), the governing body for the sport of sub-aqua diving.

We have a variety of membership of around 80 people who meet regularly to dive and share their experiences of the underwater world.

Each year we train newcomers to the sport to dive safely and enjoyably. Whether you want to undertake wreck exploration, underwater photography, marine biology or anything else underwater, we can help.

In recent years we have acquired grants from the National lottery and Sportsmatch to name a few, and the club now boasts a generous collection of equipment, including 2 RiBS, a compressor and 12 complete sets of training aqua lungs.

The club exists for the benefit of its members and operates on a not for profit basis. To encourage new members we offer scuba diving courses to both beginners and experienced divers. We believe we teach more local people to dive than any other organisation in the area.

Training follows the BSAC course programme,
which has been recognised as the most comprehensive and thorough of any available in
the world today. The BSAC training methods have been adopted in many countries including Japan and Korea.
